Oct. 2 (Bloomberg) -- Tesla Motors Inc. Chief Executive
Officer Elon Musk said the electric-car maker will unveil a new
product next week, along with “something else.”
“About time to unveil the D and something else,” the
billionaire said in a Twitter post.
Attached to the post was a picture of an obscured garage
door marked as “D,” lifted enough to show the contours of a
vehicle inside. The picture also showed the date Oct. 9. No
further details were available.
Besides the Model S, the Palo Alto, California-based
company has announced plans to debut the Model X electric sport-
utility vehicle in 2015 and the Model 3, a smaller, more
affordable premium sedan, by 2017.
