Helping others in need – great.
Use of the car as a Powerwall battery, will be obvious, the time we get dynamic electricity prices. Charge your car by low price (or from your own photovoltaics) - discharge to your house when price is high.

This will help utilizing our own windpower, instead of “giving” it to our neighboring countries (will be a win-win situation for the wind turbine owners and the consumers).

BUT a possibility to power your home with free SC-power, could destroy the SC concept (not free anymore – more problems with crowded SC´s).

Perhaps it could be possible for Tesla to block discharging of power collected from a SC (i.e. you are allowd only to discharge the amount of kWh charged from your own/home installation.

Could that be an idea?

Yes that could be a great idea.

I think it would also be possible for tesla to only allow dis-charging to other Tesla cars or to a Tesla Powerwall. And they would possible also be able to measure the amount of energy "delivered" to the powerwall - so maybe you could pay for that part, but maybe at a good price.

I think this dis-charge project opens up a lot of possibilities, but also some challenges that would have to be controlled before a final solution/dis-chargeport could come to speak.

And yes I also think that helping others would be a major thing, and think that if you had more than one Tesla you could Supercharge one and share the energy later - saving time!

Ideas to more improvement of the Tesla is more than welcome :)
